Ethan Schmertzler, CEO
Ethan's background is in software development, and was previously an early-stage venture capitalist in defense and cybersecurity. He holds a BA from Middlebury. Ethan is a Director of the National Defense Industry Association's New York chapter.
Ian Schmertzler, President and CFO
Ian's focus is on designing systems to operate efficiently at scale. By training, Ian is an Industrial Engineer. Ian holds an MSc from Georgia Tech and a BA from Yale. He is the Vice President of the National Defense Industry Association's New York chapter.
Ben Burke, COO
Ben manages deployments and installations at Dispel. Ben holds a B.A. in Chemical Engineering from Yale, and previously helped build Dispel's platform as an engineer. Ben is a Director of the National Defense Industry Association's New York chapter.
Chris DiLorenzo, CTO
Chris oversees engineering at Dispel. Chris has previously developed software for the JAS 39 Gripen fighter jet, and done telemidicinal HCI research in Kenya and Tanzania, and was the CTO of Triplemint. Despite his very Italian surname he is quite Swedish and holds an MSc from Uppsala University.
